A mobile market would bring fresh groceries to those who do not wish to drive, those who wish to decrease their environmental impact, or those who simply do not have an accessible, nearby grocery store. In other countries, a walkable grocery store is extremely common. However, due to zoning laws in America, businesses cannot be in a close vicinity to residential areas. Having a store that could move close by to residential housing would allow for an ease of access to groceries that other countries have had for ages.

How Does Wheel Food Work?

WheelFood is a mobile farmers market that delivers fresh produce straight from local farms to your arms. WheelFood was built on the idea that shopping for high-quality fresh produce shouldn't be a complicated and expensive task only available to select groups with lots of time and money on their hands. We strive to make fresh produce accessible and convenient for everyone. To do that, WheelFood operates Produce Trucks, which drive through and make stops in neighborhoods and areas. In these areas, customers can shop for produce just as they would at a farmer's market. They get to see the quality of the produce with their own eyes and feel the textures and quality with their hands, all while having the convenience of being close to their homes.

In order to get local produce and foods straight into your arms, WheelFood follows a simple procedure:

First, we contact local farmers and purchase a plethora of their fabulous fresh produce and seasonal goods they make.

Next, we perform a meticulous inspection of the vegetables, ensuring that they are clean and free of any dangerous insects. Once fully inspected, the produce is loaded into our trucks.

Then WheelFood Produce Trucks begin their journey throughout neighborhoods. Once the trucks arrive in your neighborhood, you can walk up and shop at the trucks just like you would at a farmers market. If you ever have any questions or concerns while shopping, the WheelFood staff operating the trucks will always aspire to help you in every way possible. You can also monitor our trucks' location while en route through the app and website.

To access additional benefits that WheelFood offers, customers can purchase memberships. These memberships allow customers to request a truck to specifically come to your area by sending a request through our WheelFood app and website. These memberships also come with store credit, free delivery for all products at rapid speeds, as well as monthly and seasonal perks.

For those who have busy schedules and can't shop at these trucks, WheelFood can deliver produce boxes and seasonal bundles. If a customer orders produce boxes, they can select the fresh produce that they want to be delivered to their straight to their homes.
